Depresso can also increase their movement speed by drinking energy drinks, allowing them to travel more quickly around your base if you need stuff done at speed. They aren’t very good at fighting and don’t seem to have an ambition to attack, so having them at your base is your best bet.
The ability to fight alongside your Pal is an advantage Palworld has, but it ends at that. Type effectiveness does matter, but it’s simplified when compared to Pokémon. Pokémon has more gimmicks, status effect moves, and items that make battles feel unique. Every palworld Compound bow battle is the same rotation of throwing out a super-effective Pal, shooting alongside it, and dodging whenever the enemy Pal switches targets to the player. These fights are more **physically demanding than those in Pokémon , but they are not very strategically appealing
It’s important to note that in the early stages of the game, players are rewarded for building certain structures. To craft them, they will need to be unlocked in the Technology section, which is found in the game’s menu. Prioritize these crafts first before moving on to whichever area suits the player’s needs. Later in the game, building ingredient mills and farms will benefit the player in the long term, as hunting for these items will no longer be a requirement to survive.
Daedream has a point in handiwork, transporting and gathering, making them a very useful pal to have around your base. They can easily craft your items but keep busy transporting and gathering for the rest of their day. They also seem to be fast at picking up a new task, not wasting time getting right to work.
Luckily, the openness of Palworld also means that players have unlimited opportunities to make the best of a bad situation: building a base that includes shelter and warmth, crafting weapons and Pal Spheres to help catch Pals, and structures to assist with building a solid foundation of tools and mills to create a proper life.
