Junior Cost Accountant – NON BEE
Our client based in Vereeniging is looking for a local person with the following:
Requirements:
- Com Accounting or Financial Management degree
- Must be fluent in Afrikaans
- 1 year working experience
- Good understanding and knowledge of cost accounting principles
- Cost Accounting and/or Financial Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial
- Ability to design and create data collection systems, analyze data and information
- Must be able to give attention to detail and be thorough and accurate
- Excellent reporting and computer skills (SAP / Microsoft Excel /Outlook/Microsoft Office
- Be able to multi-task and function under pressure

- Target driven and self-motivated.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the management of stock and stock take function
- Standard costing and ABC costing
- Departmental results reporting
- Review and create Bill of Materials
- Review and setting production standards
- Do on production floor investigations and verification of production standards
- Data analysis of factory/production results and exception reporting
- Interacting with factory management on exception reporting to identify bottlenecks, areas of waste and losses in order to improve
- Assist in budget and planning process
- Assist with general financial duties
- Add hoc reporting
