Jetragon is arguably the best Pal in the game, as it’s amazing at almost everything. It’s a pure Dragon Pal, which is useful in the late game as there are tons of Dark Pals running around, against which Jetragon is strong. It has an amazing Shot Attack stat at 140 and one of the most broken Partner Skills in the game.
When a trader is captured, one can store them in their Pal Box, summon them to a base, and trade with them at their convenience. This is much easier than fast-traveling and finding the trader again, though it will attract some heat from Guards in the g
Anubis has an incredible offensive stat of 130, both for Melee and Ranged attacks. This makes it extremely strong and versatile, especially when you get the skills Rock Lance and Ground Smash . It also has an incredible Partner Skill, which applies Ground damage to the player’s attacks as well. Situationally, this thing is unbeatable, but it’s still amazing in most cases, regardless.
Cattiva is one of the first pals you encounter when starting. You’ll notice the pink cat-like pal standing out against the green environment easily. Cattivas are great pals to catch early on since you’ll encounter them a lot.
Wumpos will be found much later on in the game, at the northern point of the map in a cold, snowy biome. It’s important to make sure you’re fully equipped before heading out to find one, as you might freeze to death before getting a glimpse.

In Palworld, players embark on a thrilling adventure to catch endearing companions known as “Pals” and build their ultimate team. These charming creatures come in a myriad of shapes, sizes, and abilities, each with its own unique charm. As you explore the vast landscapes of Palworld, you’ll encounter an extensive array of Pals, waiting to be added to your collection.
Unlike the often-compared Pokemon series, in Palworld , it’s possible to catch virtually everything, including other humanoid NPCs. Though doing so will get you in trouble and ultimately bring the attention of guards, who will chase characters to the ends of the island (and may result in death), it is more than possible to capture humanoid NPCs. That said, outside of a few select characters, monster-catching Genre Pals typically perform better than their human NPC counterparts — unless you’re capturing a tra
To begin with, Suzaku’s Partner Skill allows you to ride it and fly to your heart’s content. This is great for any Pal, and Suzaku is definitely one of the faster flying mounts. Its Active Skills Fire Ball and Flare Storm are extremely strong and will melt the HP of any boss you’re having trouble with.
Some Pals do have access to passive abilities that can increase Fire-type moves. Flame Emperor increases the effectiveness of these moves by 20%, while Pyromaniac increases the attacks by 10%. Additionally, Waterproof can decrease the enemy’s Water-type attacks by 10%, and Botanical Barrier holds the same resistance against Grass-type moves. Knowing this can help set up for the onslaught and make a big difference.
Not all Pals are created equal when it comes to producing resources at a Ranch. While it’s obvious that Lamballs and Chikipis produce Wool and Eggs, respectively, there are much better, more useful Pals that produce even better items. Case in point, the cute Vixy is capable of producing tier-one Pal Spheres passively at camp . With the Dig Here! ability, Vixy will dig up random items at the ranch, including Pal Spheres, creating a never-ending supply of the basic Sphere — an incredibly useful thing to know in _Palworld
Gun Option 2 – Handgun : For those patient enough to wait until Player Level 29, this firearm does less damage than the Makeshift Handgun in a single shot but fires more often and results in higher output in the long run. It also uses Coarse Ammo, so be sure to stock up.
Verdash has level three in handling, meaning your farming will be much more efficient, so you won’t have to worry about food at all anymore. The only downside to getting Verdash is the journey it takes to get to their habitat. They can be found on a rocky island on the west side of the map, so you’ll need either a good set of lungs or the help of a pal to get across.
Shadowbeak has one of the best Partner Skills in the game, boosting Dark attacks and letting you ride it and fly. As soon as you get one, Shadowbeak should likely be your primary flying mount. It doesn’t have much coverage, only learning Dark Skills, but it learns the essential Dark Skills and hits like a truck, so it’s hardly an issue.
Since Penkings are very similar to Pengullets, but have a few extra skills, they’re a great upgrade to get to boost your progress. You can find Penkings on the southern side of the map, on an isolated island across a body of water. You can also find and defeat the world boss Penking , which can be found northwest of the spawn point.
