Pal skills are perhaps the most important mechanic you will encounter in Palworld . In a world quite literally run by Pals, it’s virtually impossible to get anything done without some Pal assistance. Pal’s come equipped with at least one skill when you capture them, but as your time on the continent progresses, you’ll be able to teach your Pals new skills to help you on your adventure.

Tanzee is a really fun pal to have in your party, as they can be upgraded to have a gun early on. When it comes to working on your base, they have a point in planting, handiwork, lumbering, and gathering. They also have two points in transporting, which can be helpful when keeping your base organised and making sure your items are put directly in chests.

By the time players reach Player Level 27, their team of Pals should look formidable, and the base will need to have an area reserved for building materials on a consistent basis. Hyper Spheres will feel like the next big leap, as they require Sphere Factory II and cost more crafting materials. Players will also need to begin crafting cement, which is much tougher to gather compared to stone. Using this sphere will make catching Pals like Vanwyrm feel easier than using the previously mentioned spheres.

Compared to the Mega Sphere, the Giga Sphere isn’t too steep of a cost in materials and can also be crafted using the Sphere Factory I, which is a huge plus. This is where the game becomes more intense, as Giga Spheres can be used to capture much stronger Pals across the land. It does take reaching Player Level 20, which can be done after a few days of gameplay, and is worth the cost when taking the next step in the adventure.

Type: Neutral

The cute Lamball is one of the first Pals you will find in a while, and although it’s not the strongest one, its roundness and overall adorability make it a cute partner to have at your side during the first hours. That being said, its weakness in battle doesn’t translate into its labor abilities.

Each Skill Fruit teaches a specific skill within that Element Type. In that way, no two Water Skill Fruits are the same. While they may look the same, one Water Skill Fruit may teach your Pal Bubble Blast , while another may teach it Aqua Gun . This will be specified in the Skill Fruit description.

Lamball has one point in handiwork, one in transport and one in farming, making them a very good pal to have active in your base anyway, as they will be doing a lot of the hard labor. This is likely why you are tasked with gathering so many at the start of your game .
